Im 24 & 25 is fast approaching. I made the commitment to keep my virginity & pursue sexual purity not just for my future husband & the Lord but out of respect to myself. I believe I am worthy of a man that honours me. But more importantly even if I am to remain single indefinitely I am commited to Christ & being conformed to His image as opposed to the worlds standard/s. Sex before marriage is not only an emotional issue but a spiritual covenant. Sex outside of marriage is not sanctified by God & therefore opens one up to demonic activity & torment.Im thrilled with your book (Inspiring Abstinence), I believe that every christian ought to read it & evaluate their commitment to Christ & what that entails in order that our lives become a fragrant aroma (Eph 5).

There is a reason why God wants us to stay pure. I don’t want to make mistakes that I will regret later. I am making this commitment because I want to save myself for my future husband.

I am making this commitment because I know God has a plan for my life and when He brings me the one I will never look back and say “I wish I would have had sex before marriage!” I will wait as long as it takes, it’s the least I can do

I am in love with the Woman the Lord may have in store for me and am willing to wait for her as long as it takes because that is what is glorifying to God, pleasing to my wife and is just the right thing to do.

I made this commitment back in the 6th grade…got a ring for it and everything, however I didn’t really MEAN it until 2 or 3 years ago when I was challenged with the issue and gained a meaningful relationship with God as well as added respect for my future husband.
